Coniston TIC keeps records of local vacancies and the staff can advise on the best place to stay to suit your requirements. We continually update the vacancy lists and have a 'one to one' formal rappor with local hoteliers & B+B's. We only charge the standard 10% booking fee which comes off the final bill. If a telephone booking is to be made, we will only charge a fee of £3.00 to cover administration costs.
Please note we only advise about establishments which have been inspected and graded by nationally recognised organisations. We are sure you will join the hundreds of previously satisfied customers that have been accommodated by us. We hope you have a pleasant stay and will pop in to see us.

Beech Tree B+B, Coniston.
Beech Tree House is full of character, it stands in its own attractive gardens, 150m from the village centre and all amenities. Our eight letting bedrooms are individually decorated and there is a television lounge and guest dining room. We have ample parking and drying facilities if the weather is inclement. There are many beautiful walks from the house, which makes an ideal base for exploring the Southern Lakes and fells, or overnight stop on the Cumbria Way.

Braclett Hall Farm B+B, Broughton In Furness.
Bracelet Hall bed and breakfast is a traditional beef and sheep rearing farm, with over 400 acres of land, situated between Coniston water and Broughton-in-Furness. The 17th century farmhouse overlooks the Woodland fells to the front and the coast line to the side. We can be reached by a private tarmac road which is over half a mile long, giving a peaceful and tranquil environment for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenary that surrounds you.

Browside is set on the hillside at the foot of Coniston Old Man, in beautiful gardens with wonderful Lakeland views overlooking Coniston Water towards Grizedale Forest and the Ambleside fells.
Situated only 1.5 miles from Coniston village and 1/2 mile to the nearest pub, there is no need even to use your car when staying at our Lake District bed and breakfast in Coniston. Our purpose built guest house offers all day access, with guests given their own door keys and private front door.
We have many excellent footpaths from the door of our Lake District bed and breakfast in Coniston, including a new lakeshore path to Coniston, or for keen walkers a direct path up Coniston Old Man. We have lake cruises, pony trekking, cycle hire, canoeing and historic houses nearby. There are also very good bar meals available at our local pubs.

The resident proprietors, Anthony and Elizabeth Robinson, the third generation of Lakeland hoteliers, have now been at Coniston Lodge for ten years. We hoped to create something just a little different, a small hotel, with that very special feeling of staying in someone's beautiful home, but with the facilities you would expect in a modern hotel. We hope we have succeeded. One of our regular guests calls the lodge his "little piece of heaven on earth". And in 1993 the RAC awarded us their "Small Hotel of the Year" (Northern Region) citation.

Holmeshead Farm B+B, Skelwith Bridge.
Its beautiful location just above the tiny hamlet of Skelwith Fold is isolated, peaceful and quiet, yet only 10 minutes drive from the bustle of Ambleside, one of Lakeland's major tourist centres with every facility and amenity, or from Hawkshead, a picturesque village with interesting history, shops, cafés and pubs.
The fine Langdale valley, one of England's most famous walking and climbing areas, is about 15 minutes' drive away.
The farm rears sheep and beef cattle and is run by Edward Ireton, while his wife Judith looks after the guests. The farmhouse dates from the 17th century. The farm buildings and yard are adjoining and there is usually something interesting going on outside, while the friendly farm dogs ask you politely to play.
To the south of the house, extensive undulating lawns invite you to stroll and enjoy the unspoilt view, or relax and take a drink, while in the pond the wildlife waits to be discovered.
This is a truly idyllic spot.

Yewdale Hotel, Coniston.
The Yewdale Hotel is a situated in the centre of Coniston and therefore central for the scenic delights of the Lake District. Built of local stone and slate in 1896, it was once part guest house and part bank.
Eight centrally heated bedrooms with en suite, tv and tea-making facilities,

Yew Tree Farm with its distinctive ‘spinning gallery’ is in the beautiful Lake District, in a stunning picturesque setting it is ideally located for all Lakeland activities. The Farm House was built in 1693 and is one of the most photographed farms in the North.
Yew tree was owned by Beatrix Potter in the 1930s and is still home to many of her furnishings, Yew Tree farm featured as ‘Hill Top’ in the movie ‘Miss Potter’ starring Rene Zellweger.
We offer five star historic guest accommodation in the Farmhouse, you can take a break from the modern world and step back in time. Our guest quarters have been exquisitely refurbished working with all the original features, we have interior designed in period style enhancing the exceptional character and friendly atmosphere.
